What should be noted in stainless steel casting?

1. In order to prevent white spots in castings, stainless steel casting not only requires technical measures, but also the wall thickness of the castings cannot be too thin.
2. Due to the lack of fixation of metal molds and iron cores, the pouring slope of stainless steel castings is slightly greater than that of sand castings.
3. The thickness of the inner wall and inner reinforcement of stainless steel castings is generally 0.6~0.8 of the thickness of the connecting outer wall. In addition, due to slow cooling of the inner wall (rib), cracks are prone to occur at the junction of the inner wall and outer wall during casting shrinkage.
4. Due to the rapid heat dissipation of metal molds, the wall thickness of stainless steel castings is greater than that of sand castings.
