What are the suitable temperatures for stainless steel precision casting process?

Stainless steel precision casting is a casting process with little or no cutting, which is an excellent process technology in the casting industry. Its application is very extensive, not only suitable for casting various types and alloys. So, do you know what are the suitable temperatures for stainless steel precision casting process?

Stainless steel precision casting is an excellent process technology in the casting industry, which is widely used. It is not only suitable for casting various types and alloys, but also produces castings with higher dimensional accuracy and surface quality than other casting methods. Even complex, high-temperature resistant, and difficult to process castings that are difficult to cast using other casting methods can be cast using this process.

The crack tendency of stainless steel precision casting round ingots is low, which ensures that the alloy has good exhaust and contraction ability, creates sequential crystallization conditions, and improves density. Generally, the casting temperature is higher. The casting temperature for ingots with a diameter of over 350mm is generally 730-750 ℃. For small diameter ingots, due to their small transition zone size and good mechanical properties, they are generally based on meeting fluidity and not forming bright crystals. The general temperature is 715-740 ℃. The temperature of stainless steel precision casting ensures good fluidity of the melt during the injection process. The selection of temperature should be determined based on factors such as the distance of injection, the cooling situation during the injection process, alloy, specifications, flow rate, etc. The temperature is 50 ℃ to 110 ℃ higher than the liquidus temperature of the alloy.

The suitable temperature for stainless steel precision casting process is mainly introduced above. We should all meet these suitable temperatures for our casting, and correct operation and use of our stainless steel precision casting are what we need to do.
