Stainless steel precision casting can transform a metal surface with high strength into a compound with low strength. For this reason, stainless steel precision castings often require mid-term rust prevention treatment. The method of rust prevention usually uses water-based rust prevention or oil rust prevention. What are the cleaning methods for stainless steel precision casting?
The cleaning method for stainless steel precision casting is as follows:
1. Shot blasting cleaning. Using the impact force of high-speed steel shot, iron shot, and abrasive flow to clean the core, sand sticking, and polish the surface of the casting.
2. Drum cleaning. Place the casting and star iron together into a circular drum. When the drum rotates, rely on the collision and friction between the casting, star iron, and waste sand to clean the sand inside and outside the casting, and polish the surface of the casting.
3. Hydraulic sand cleaning. Inject high-pressure water through the pipeline from the spray gun towards the processed casting, and clean the core and casting sand sticking by relying on the kinetic energy and scouring effect of the water flow.
4. Water explosion to clear sand. After pouring the mold, when the casting cools to the specified temperature, it is boxed and immersed in a water pool. Water seeps into the mold through cracks and rapidly vaporizes in contact with high-temperature metal. The shock wave can basically clean the sand attached to the inside and outside of the casting.
When cleaning stainless steel precision registration, we can all follow the cleaning method above. The correct method for cleaning stainless steel precision casting is what we need to do.
